Luisinho de Barros hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Ubatiba SC's Charalambos Goumas got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boturobi FC's Wellington Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Mierzwa in the 9th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Boturobi FC's Abelardo Garcia ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Reginaldo Paraíba. Reginaldo Paraíba yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Boturobi FC's Wellington Souto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ludomil Mierzwa in the 19th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sérgio Massa during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 26th minute, Ubatiba SC's Zé Ruelas seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Zé Ruelas the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Ubatiba SC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Zé Ruelas had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Ubatiba SC's Charalambos Goumas got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ubatiba SC's Reginaldo Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorival Soeiro in the 34th minute of play. Ludomil Mierzwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Souto having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Charalambos Goumas, 57 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Ubatiba SC's Reginaldo Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Figueiredo in the 61st minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Diego Figueiredo notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Ubatiba SC's Reginaldo Paraíba. Reginaldo Paraíba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 68 minutes into the game, Sidney Cardoso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Reginaldo Paraíba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reginaldo Paraíba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Diego Figueiredo in the 72nd minute of play. Ludomil Mierzwa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Souto having to interfere. Ubatiba SC's Mathias Cruz got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ludomil Mierzwa struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Wellington Souto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ubatiba SC. In the 89th minute Mathias Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wellington Souto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boturobi FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Ubatiba SC for a fine match.
