The audience thought a goal was coming when William Tepedino got free with Orlando Medeiros in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Orlando Medeiros made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when William Tepedino sent off a good shot on target. William Tepedino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Orlando Medeiros having to interfere. William Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Orlando Medeiros having to make a save. Tostão da Silveira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaltino Diniz in the 28th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind SERRANO F.C.'s goalkeeper Orlando Medeiros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nelsinho Prestes during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Eugênio Simões struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Orlando Medeiros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ROX F.P.A.. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Tepedino got free with Orlando Medeiros in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isaltino Diniz to make the kick off. Isaltino Diniz blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tostão da Silveira having to make a save. After 60 played minutes SERRANO F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Fantini. In the 65thth minute of the game Eugênio Simões who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SERRANO F.C.'s Orlando Medeiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Isaltino Diniz came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the SERRANO F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaltino Diniz couldn't finish the play. 71 minutes into the game, Norberto de Queirós was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ROX F.P.A.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SERRANO F.C. the free kick. Orlando Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from William Tepedino in the 76th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Eugênio Simões managed to get in a good position for a shot. ROX F.P.A.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Eugênio Simões was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Medeiros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, William Tepedino got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
