Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dorin Cârju started the match with the kick off. With his leg Falcão do Nascimento managed to avoid a goal in the 4thth minute, when Cheruan SS's Juan Bladi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 5th minute Clayton Gøl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerson Souza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 6 minutes, Clayton Gøl managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Independente AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clayton Gøl was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Cârju in the 16th minute of play forced Independente AC's goalkeeper Falcão do Nascimento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hudson Brodel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Falcão do Nascimento made a huge save. Dorin Cârju sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Bladi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Falcão do Nascimento made a huge save. With an all-out effort, Cheruan SS's Falcão do Nascimento threw himself towards the right post 25 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Silas Trancoso, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. With a little luck, Independente AC's Falcão do Nascimento got control of the ball when Juan Bladi tried to sneak it across the goal line. Lúcio Catarinense's late challenge caught a Cheruan SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lúcio Catarinense helped the player get up and apologised. Lúcio Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Juan Bladi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 40th minute, Armandinho Saraiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 48th match minute, Cheruan SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Bladi to maneuver through the defense.

The audience held their breath when Juninho Brasil in the 49th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Gerson Souza's left hand side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Clayton Gøl was the one to do the kick off. Falcão do Nascimento showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Cârju in the 57th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Don Bigotte during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Don Bigotte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dorin Cârju received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Falcão do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Falcão do Nascimento came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by Cheruan SS's Hudson Brodel. But to his dismay, Hudson Brodel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 81st minute, Hudson Brodel made a precise shot to the right of Falcão do Nascimento. Independente AC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Falcão do Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Juan Bladi's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Independente AC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 89th minute. Penalty! Washington de Queiroz shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. When the referee ended the match the Cheruan SS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
