Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marcelinho Magalhães took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oséias Valladares in the 3rd minute of play forced dragons's goalkeeper Otávio das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Otávio das Neves was a little too slow when Torgny Molander got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 5th minute. The score was now 1-0. Otávio das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Valladares in the 9th minute of the match. Oswaldo Moura recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Oswaldo Moura in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Otávio das Neves saved dragons from getting behind. Umuarama E. C.'s Torgny Molander got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind dragons's goalkeeper Otávio das Neves, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Oséias Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Oswaldo Moura struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Otávio das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umuarama E. C.. 33 minutes into the match, Umuarama E. C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcelinho Magalhães came free, but Raphael Neto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 37th minute Oséias Valladares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Otávio das Neves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 42 minutes, Oséias Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Umuarama E. C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Oséias Valladares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oséias Valladares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Otávio das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oswaldo Moura in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Oséias Valladares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umuarama E. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Otávio das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oséias Valladares in the 61st minute of the match. Oséias Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio das Neves having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Leandro Loureiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Raphael Neto. That made the score 3-1 in the 69 minute of play. Luli Basha struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Otávio das Neves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Umuarama E. C.. Oséias Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio das Neves having to interfere. After a rather tough play, dragons's Duda Salles got a free kick in the 80th minute. If Marcelinho Magalhães had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 85 minutes into the match, dragons's goal looked a bit too open when Oséias Valladares came free, but Otávio das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luli Basha might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Otávio das Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luli Basha ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 90th minute, Oséias Valladares left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Umuarama E. C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Oséias Valladares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Otávio das Neves having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Umuarama E. C. players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
