Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rafet Oykut got the match started through his kick off. When Atafona's Rafet Oykut in the 3rd minute got a chance for a shot 3rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cajazeira SC's goalie prevented a goal. After 5 played minutes Atafona got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro de Lara. In the 6th minute, Vladimir Siqueira sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Atafona's Tostão Félix didn't even have to move. Tostão Félix was a little too slow when Pedro Augusto Alagoano got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. Carlos Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tostão Félix having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cajazeira SC defense, Oscar Saraiva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edmílson Paulista. The Cajazeira SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edmílson Paulista should have stopped the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Oscar Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atafona's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edmílson Paulista breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Oscar Saraiva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Edmílson Paulista tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tostão Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Augusto Alagoano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Oscar Saraiva in the 42nd minute of play forced Cajazeira SC's goalkeeper Edmílson Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 44 minutes, Tostão Félix successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Edmílson Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oscar Saraiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Atafona were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Pedro Augusto Alagoano made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Cajazeira SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Roberto Camargo to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Severiano Isaio in the 56th minute really tested Edmílson Paulista's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 79th minute Carlos Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tostão Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
