Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flávio Campidelis kicked off to start the match. When Flávio Campidelis came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Jabora fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Flávio Campidelis couldn't finish the play. 9 minutes into the game, Diamantino Penha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jabora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nantes AD the free kick. A collision led to Jabora getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Diamantino Penha hit a great ball. In the 13thth minute of the game Róbson Hames who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jabora's Isaltino Carvalho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Jabora's goal looked a bit too open when Róbson Hames came free, but Isaltino Carvalho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nantes AD's Manfredo Cearense proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Nantes AD from getting a goal against them. Isaltino Carvalho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ediberto Gaúcho in the 28th minute of the match. After 29 minutes, Róbson Hames made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Jabora's Isaltino Carvalho tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Nantes AD's goalkeeper Manfredo Cearense had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by João Carlos Nogueira. Jabora were furious when Nestor Gaúcho was red carded, 38 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 37th minute of the game. One of Jabora:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Nantes AD:s goal. After some careless play in the Jabora defense, Róbson Hames kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isaltino Carvalho. The Jabora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isaltino Carvalho should have stopped the shot. In the 47th minute, João Carlos Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 49 minutes into the match, Róbson Hames had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Isaltino Carvalho. Jabora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Róbson Hames was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. The Jabora players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Nantes AD were winning 0-4.

The wind increased when Róbson Hames made the kick off in the second half. Manfredo Cearense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Branco in the 59th minute of play. If Flavinho Souto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Manfredo Cearense showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Pedro Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Gilberto Branco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manfredo Cearense having to interfere. Paulo José Gomes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Isaltino Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Jabora getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Arlindo Meira hit a great ball. Aníbal Simões sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 72nd minute, João Carlos Nogueira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Róbson Hames fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Carvalho having to interfere. Flavinho Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Isaltino Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Róbson Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 83rd minute by Flavinho Souto got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 84th minute, Nantes AD's Róbson Hames ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isaltino Carvalho. Isaltino Carvalho yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 87th minute, Nantes AD's Róbson Hames dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-6. Flavinho Souto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Isaltino Carvalho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If João Pedro Soares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nantes AD's Manfredo Cearense played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Branco in the 97th minute of play. Nantes AD's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
