Fausto Capixaba hit a great ball. Jefferson Pires's late challenge caught a Itaja EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jefferson Pires helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Lampião FC's Jefferson Pires got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 27th minute of the match Raí Macedo shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Silvinho Rosado showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Silas Cearense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silas Cearense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Silvinho Rosado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36thth minute of the game Juninho Linares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lampião FC's Silvinho Rosado was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cléberson Koehler showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tiaguinho Nóbrega, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Lampião FC got a corner. Itaja EC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Despite this Cléberson Koehler quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 42 minutes into the game, Itaja EC's Juninho Linares nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silvinho Rosado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Silvinho Rosado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juninho Linares in the 46th minute of play. Amílton Sergipano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Koehler having to interfere.

Silvinho Rosado stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Silas Cearense's shot from short distance in the 53rd minute.
