Spectators: 7274 (Terracing: 5457, Seating: 1673, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Luizão Saldanha took the kick off in the first half of the match. Cacá Luz struck a weak shot in the 2nd minute. Sílvio Luís de Lara didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for New Vintage Tigers. Luizão Saldanha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Luís de Lara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Cacá Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sílvio Luís de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luizão Saldanha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís de Lara having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Dieguinho Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sílvio Luís de Lara was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. 18 minutes into the game, Cacá Luz recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sílvio Luís de Lara. Cacá Luz showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Dieguinho Velasco took the ball and in the 22 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sílvio Luís de Lara. Sílvio Luís de Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dieguinho Velasco got free with Sílvio Luís de Lara in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dieguinho Velasco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Sílvio Luís de Lara made a huge save. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Dieguinho Velasco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Cacá Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Sílvio Luís de Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Alexandre's Gil Koehler got a free kick in the 34th minute. A hard shot 35 in the game by Luizão Saldanha from a close distance when the talented Sílvio Luís de Lara managed to make a qualified save. Alexandre's players were relieved. 36 minutes into the game, Gustavo de Lima was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. New Vintage Tigers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alexandre the free kick. A collision led to New Vintage Tigers getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gustavo de Lima hit a great ball. Alexandre's Erasmo Donato couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 37th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for New Vintage Tigers. Tadeu Cordeiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 40th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Abel dos Santos. New Vintage Tigers's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A hard shot 41 in the game by Luizão Saldanha from a close distance when the talented Sílvio Luís de Lara managed to make a qualified save. Alexandre's players were relieved. Alexandre's Sílvio Luís de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dieguinho Velasco in the 46th minute of play. Evaristo Gomes hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Evaristo Gomes to make the kick off. When Dieguinho Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the New Vintage Tigers fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieguinho Velasco couldn't finish the play. If Luizão Saldanha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizão Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Elano Amorim hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alexandre's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís de Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When New Vintage Tigers's Luizão Saldanha in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alexandre's goalie prevented a goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 78th minute of the game. One of Alexandre:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of New Vintage Tigers:s goal. After having played for 82 minutes, Cacá Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Vintage Tigers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cacá Luz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexandre's Sílvio Luís de Lara played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cacá Luz in the 85th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luizão Saldanha in the 87th minute of play forced Alexandre's goalkeeper Sílvio Luís de Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chiquinho Novaes hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. After 98 minutes of play, New Vintage Tigers's Emerson Paraíba made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sílvio Luís de Lara was left in no man's land by his defense there! It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. New Vintage Tigers had played much better football throughout.
