Matei Nichitelea struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Hamílton Valadares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Interlaken MZ. 13 minutes into the game, Sixto Fernendo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Interlaken MZ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jangada FC the free kick. Jangada FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matei Nichitelea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Interlaken MZ's Gilberto Corrêa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Igor Alves in the 24th minute of play. Igor Alves scored 1-1 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gilberto Corrêa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Igor Alves in the 34th minute of play forced Interlaken MZ's goalkeeper Gilberto Corrêa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Peter Stål was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Hamílton Valadares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 46 minutes of play, Jangada FC's Claudinei Nogueira made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Corrêa was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The wind increased when Gilmar Reis made the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Jangada FC's Danilo Campidelis dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. In the 63rd match minute, Jangada FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sandrinho Silveira to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pedrinho Lago in the 64th minute of play forced Jangada FC's goalkeeper Hamílton Valadares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 65 minutes into the game, Gilmar Reis cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Jangada FC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Interlaken MZ's much stronger midfield.
