In the 4th match minute, Forma Conceitos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Mineiro to maneuver through the defense. If Daniel Mazza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Forma Conceitos's zone, Daniel Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Adolfo Koehler came out of the goal and Daniel Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 19 minutes into the game, Ainelga FC's Osvaldo Arce nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Adolfo Koehler made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Forma Conceitos's João Adolfo Koehler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osvaldo Arce in the 25th minute of play. Denílson Cerezo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Silas Messias in the 27th minute. After 29 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Forma Conceitos! In the 31st minute there was a penalty for Ainelga FC. Moisés Costa stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving João Adolfo Koehler. 1-3. João Adolfo Koehler stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Mazza's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Silas Messias sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Ainelga FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. César Pereira hit a great ball. In the 43rd minute, Daniel Mazza ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. João Adolfo Koehler was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Daniel Mazza scored 1-5 in the 48th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Adolfo Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

João Adolfo Koehler made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Mazza in the 54th minute of play. 55 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Forma Conceitos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ainelga FC the free kick. Luiz Paulo Vale hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. After 57 played minutes Forma Conceitos got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Mineiro. 58 minutes in the game, the ball went up into the seats when Ainelga FC's Osvaldo Arce fired away a shot that was just a little bit too high. He walked away shaking his head. In the 61st minute Daniel Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th minute, Dráusio Marquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Forma Conceitos booed when Ainelga FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Pereira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denílson Cerezo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valério Barros, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. João Adolfo Koehler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 79th minute Daniel Mazza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Adolfo Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Forma Conceitos's João Adolfo Koehler proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Forma Conceitos from getting a goal against them. Daniel Mazza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 92nd minute, Osvaldo Arce got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Silas Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Cerezo having to interfere. If Valério Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 99th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Ainelga FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
