Yan Mangueira came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Margarida EC's Durvalino Mumbach. But to his dismay, Durvalino Mumbach quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Rodolfo Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 20th match minute, Margarida EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silvério Furtado to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute Natanael Pitta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durvalino Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yan Mangueira having to interfere. Valdo Mandrak acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 30th minute, took the ball on the long shot from César Queirós. Margarida EC's Valdo Mandrak proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Margarida EC from getting a goal against them. Natanael Pitta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yan Mangueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Durvalino Mumbach's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. Juan Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Yan Mangueira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Durvalino Mumbach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Margarida EC's Cristiano Pena got a good chance for a goal in the 49th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

If Natanael Pitta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iuri Nunes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durvalino Mumbach in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yan Mangueira saved The Guardians United from getting behind. The Guardians United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
