Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when William das Neves took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Ferrugen EC got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Guimarães. Luizão Leão made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when João Pedro Torres sent off a good shot on target. In the 8thth minute of the game Pedro Luís Vinhas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Mucuitu's Luizão Leão was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute Pedro Luís Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luizão Leão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Paulo Renato Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Carlos Eduardo Antunes hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Luís Gustavo Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William das Neves in the 31st minute of play. Pedro Luís Vinhas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizão Leão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Luís Vinhas in the 37th minute of play. Mucuitu's Luizão Leão proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Mucuitu from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raí Cunha in the 41st minute of play forced Ferrugen EC's goalkeeper Luís Gustavo Donato to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Pedro Luís Vinhas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

A collision led to Mucuitu getting a freekick after 50 minutes play. Eliseu de Senna hit a great ball. João Pedro Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 60 minutes into the match, Mucuitu's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Renato Lara came free, but Luizão Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Ferrugen EC booed when Mucuitu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Reynaldo Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ferrugen EC's Pedro Luís Vinhas in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Mucuitu's goalie prevented a goal. 65 minutes into the match, Pedro Luís Vinhas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mucuitu's Luizão Leão. Luizão Leão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 71 minutes into the match, Mucuitu's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Luís Vinhas came free, but Luizão Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizão Leão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Pedro Torres in the 79th minute of the match. After 83 minutes of play, Mucuitu's Raí Cunha made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luís Gustavo Donato was left in no man's land by his defense there! Pedro Luís Vinhas took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luizão Leão. Luizão Leão dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Mucuitu's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
