Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Romeu Souto started the match with the kick off. Hamílton de Barros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Juvenal Duarte having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Way Protein Team's zone, Iuri Proença stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juvenal Duarte came out of the goal and Iuri Proença tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wellington Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Wellington Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juvenal Duarte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hamílton de Barros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Way Protein Team's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton de Barros came free, but Juvenal Duarte reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juvenal Duarte came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Trindade's Walmyr Dracena. But to his dismay, Walmyr Dracena quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Hamílton de Barros took the ball and in the 23 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Juvenal Duarte. Juvenal Duarte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Walmyr Dracena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hamílton de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Trindade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton de Barros couldn't finish the play. Walmyr Dracena fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juvenal Duarte having to interfere. Juvenal Duarte made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton de Barros in the 37th minute of play. After 42 played minutes Way Protein Team got a freekick which was hit by Augusto Castro. When Walmyr Dracena came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Trindade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walmyr Dracena couldn't finish the play. Cláudio Mendonça could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Cristóvão Valadares made a huge save. 47 minutes into the match, Walmyr Dracena had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Juvenal Duarte. Way Protein Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Walmyr Dracena was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After the first half Trindade were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walmyr Dracena stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hamílton de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hamílton de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ernesto Esteves kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Augusto Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Way Protein Team's goalkeeper Juvenal Duarte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hamílton de Barros. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Dracena in the 63rd minute of play forced Way Protein Team's goalkeeper Juvenal Duarte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Walmyr Dracena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Duarte was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Hamílton de Barros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Juvenal Duarte tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Walmyr Dracena's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juvenal Duarte was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. Juvenal Duarte was a little too slow when Walmyr Dracena got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 74th minute. The score was now 0-4. When Hamílton de Barros came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Trindade fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hamílton de Barros couldn't finish the play. If Walmyr Dracena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Way Protein Team's Juvenal Duarte proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Way Protein Team from getting a goal against them. Walmyr Dracena could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Juvenal Duarte made a huge save. Trindade's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
