If Gilberto Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 9th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Minduri fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when Minduri's Nelsinho Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nelsinho Vale couldn't finish the play. The Minduri fans' excitement grew in the 42nd match minute when Minduri's Nelsinho Vale looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. Renan Aparecido hit a great ball. After the first half Minduri were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Renan Aparecido to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes in the game, Nelsinho Vale fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Nelson Montenegro having to interfere. Nelson Montenegro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nelsinho Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nelson Montenegro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nelsinho Vale's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Minduri's Gilberto Fontes came free and shot a quick shot against goal 81 minutes in the game, fortunately Nelson Montenegro had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Nelson Montenegro made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Gilberto Fontes sent off a good shot on target. Minduri's Nelsinho Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gilberto Fontes got free with Nelson Montenegro in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. KauTeLLa Futebol CluB's Nelson Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nelsinho Vale in the 91st minute of play. Nelsinho Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Nelson Montenegro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Minduri played a much better game than KauTeLLa Futebol CluB and deserved their victory. The KauTeLLa Futebol CluB players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
