Ciniaco's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. 15 minutes into the match, Ciniaco's goalkeeper Alfredo Tinoco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedro Augusto Meirelles. In the 17th minute, Gilson Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zacarias Senna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doriva Soeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfredo Tinoco didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Fabiano Vander went, in the 26th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. In the 29th match minute, Guaianases Virtual Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tarcisio Tasso to maneuver through the defense. With an all-out effort, Guaianases Virtual Clube's Alfredo Tinoco threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Fabiano Vander, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 35th minute, Bebeto Moura hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 38 minutes into the game, one of Guaianases Virtual Clube:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 39th minute there was a penalty for Ciniaco. Waldemar Furlan stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zacarias Senna. 3-1. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vivaldo Monteiro to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Guaianases Virtual Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabiano Vander to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastian Kissel in the 54th minute of play forced Ciniaco's goalkeeper Alfredo Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredo Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Alfredo Tinoco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabiano Vander in the 56th minute of play. A collision led to Ciniaco getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Bebeto Moura hit a great ball. In the 60th minute Sebastian Kissel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Tinoco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ediberto Rossi charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ediberto Rossi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 64 minutes into the match, Ismael Pimenta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredo Tinoco. Ciniaco's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ismael Pimenta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. If Sebastian Kissel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaianases Virtual Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eriberto Berart was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alfredo Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastian Kissel, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Sebastian Kissel was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Eriberto Berart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Alfredo Tinoco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th match minute, Ciniaco was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doriva Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. In the 92nd minute Vivaldo Monteiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zacarias Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Guaianases Virtual Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alfredo Gaspar. In the 95th minute, Gilson Tróia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Guaianases Virtual Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. There was no doubt that Guaianases Virtual Clube were the better team. Guaianases Virtual Clube's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
