After a rather tough play, Saycan's Fred Mandrak got a free kick in the 13th minute. 15 minutes into the match, E.C Laranjeira's Manfredo Medeiros sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Igor Arósio narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Zé Arce could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Igor Arósio made a huge save. Kiko Lopez was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Igor Arósio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manfredo Medeiros in the 20th minute. 24 minutes into the match, E.C Laranjeira's goal looked a bit too open when Rafael Hoffmann came free, but José Vítor Fontes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 27th match minute, E.C Laranjeira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernesto Batista to maneuver through the defense. When Reynaldo Correia came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Saycan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reynaldo Correia couldn't finish the play. Ernesto Batista's late challenge caught a Saycan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ernesto Batista helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to E.C Laranjeira getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Ernesto Batista hit a great ball. Acácio Amaral's late challenge caught a E.C Laranjeira's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Acácio Amaral helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Saycan's Acácio Amaral got a free kick in the 39th minute. Manfredo Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Ronaldão Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Manfredo Medeiros made a precise shot to the right of Igor Arósio. Saycan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Manfredo Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Arósio having to interfere. E.C Laranjeira's José Vítor Fontes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save E.C Laranjeira from getting a goal against them. In the 77th minute, Rafael Hoffmann fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. The supporters of Saycan booed when E.C Laranjeira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ernesto Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute Zé Arce shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Igor Arósio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rafael Hoffmann struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. José Vítor Fontes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saycan. Manfredo Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Igor Arósio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reynaldo Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without José Vítor Fontes having to interfere. Zé Arce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Igor Arósio having to interfere. E.C Laranjeira were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Saycan for a fine match.
