Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Cauacu's Sydney Bittencourt started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Parahu's Sílvio Luiz Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amauri Torres narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cauacu booed when Parahu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 8 minutes into the game, Cauacu's Renatinho Melo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enio Saraiva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Amauri Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastião Ferreira in the 13th minute of play. If Sebastião Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sebastião Ferreira in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Amauri Torres prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Enio Saraiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sydney Bittencourt, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Parahu's goalkeeper Enio Saraiva, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 27 played minutes Parahu got a freekick which was hit by Alex Cerezo. After a defensive mix-up in Parahu's zone, Sydney Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enio Saraiva came out of the goal and Sydney Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Enio Saraiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Bittencourt in the 30th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, José Vítor Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renatinho Melo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Enio Saraiva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee felt a red card was in order, 37 minutes into the game, when Elivélton Baiano put in a rough tackle. In the 37th minute, one of Parahu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Parahu. The referee gave Cauacu a penalty, 39 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Luís Fábio de Mendonça, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Parahu's Enio Saraiva. 0-2. Sydney Bittencourt took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enio Saraiva. Enio Saraiva dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

The wind increased when Sílvio Luiz Varela made the kick off in the second half. Sydney Bittencourt blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enio Saraiva having to make a save. If Sílvio Luiz Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Bittencourt in the 72nd minute of play forced Parahu's goalkeeper Enio Saraiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Olavo Cosme charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Olavo Cosme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 76 played minutes Cauacu got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Cosme. 80 minutes into the match, Parahu's goalkeeper Enio Saraiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Yan Sarmento. Sílvio Luiz Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Torres having to interfere. 84 minutes into the match, Cauacu's goal looked a bit too open when Sílvio Luiz Varela came free, but Amauri Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olavo Cosme kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. 86 minutes into the match, Parahu's Oscar Gaúcho broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Sílvio Luiz Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amauri Torres having to interfere. In the 91st minute, Sílvio Luiz Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amauri Torres was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. If Sílvio Luiz Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Cauacu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
