Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nestor Zonta in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elano Loureiro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Nestor Zonta who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Elano Loureiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Goiás DESCUBRA Clube booed when Caubi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramón Palmeira didn't get a good kick on the ball.
