Clemente Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Célio Cerezo was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 13th minute, Váldson Paulista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hugo Prestes was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. 18 minutes into the match, Financial MK's goalkeeper Hugo Prestes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arlindo Pirani. When Váldson Paulista came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pesca Esportiva Clube fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Váldson Paulista couldn't finish the play. Pesca Esportiva Clube's Váldson Paulista got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Egídio Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho de Barros having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felippe Sanches got free with Hugo Prestes in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Financial MK booed when Pesca Esportiva Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felippe Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clemente Simão kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Arlindo Pirani might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hugo Prestes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arlindo Pirani ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Financial MK's Hugo Prestes got control of the ball when Arlindo Pirani tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Váldson Paulista to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Financial MK's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Pirani came free, but Hugo Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Váldson Paulista in the 55th minute of play forced Financial MK's goalkeeper Hugo Prestes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franklin Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavinho de Barros having to interfere. 62 minutes into the game, José Carlos Bueno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Financial MK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pesca Esportiva Clube the free kick. Hugo Prestes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. 4-0 became the score in the 72nd minute when Váldson Paulista elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. In the 78th minute of the match Amadeu Dionísio sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavinho de Barros skillfully saved the ball. 86 minutes into the game, Váldson Paulista cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-0. Hugo Prestes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 91 minutes into the match, Financial MK's goal looked a bit too open when Arlindo Pirani came free, but Hugo Prestes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felippe Sanches scored 7-0 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hugo Prestes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caetano Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
