Jefferson Lira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Martins, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute Gláuber Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mazinho Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Augusto Seco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Mazinho Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Dário da Mata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 71 minutes of play Bacue EC's Dinei Pontes was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. After 74 minutes of play, CGMS FC's Dário da Mata made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jefferson Lira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dário da Mata sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th match minute, CGMS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Téo Lago to maneuver through the defense. If Gláuber Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
