The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The JôVentus FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lorenzo Oxel should have stopped the shot. 23 minutes into the game, Caiçara Esporte Clube's Rui de Mendonça nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lorenzo Oxel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Rui de Mendonça was extremely unlucky when he, in the 26th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Lorenzo Oxel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rui de Mendonça, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Lorenzo Oxel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rui de Mendonça in the 31st minute of the match. JôVentus FC's Lorenzo Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rui de Mendonça in the 37th minute of play. JôVentus FC's Victorino Espiridion got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute Iuri Paiva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Frank Sá saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frank Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorino Espiridion in the 42nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Caiçara Esporte Clube's Rui de Mendonça slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lorenzo Oxel. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. Elivélton Domingues's late challenge caught a Caiçara Esporte Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elivélton Domingues helped the player get up and apologised. Elivélton Domingues hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Iuri Paiva made a kick off. JôVentus FC's Lorenzo Oxel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thiago Peres in the 53rd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, JôVentus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Peres came free, but Lorenzo Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute the ball was on its way in behind Caiçara Esporte Clube's goalkeeper Frank Sá, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Caiçara Esporte Clube got a freekick which was hit by Alex Dionísio. 65 minutes into the match, JôVentus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Thiago Peres came free, but Lorenzo Oxel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rui de Mendonça struck a weak shot in the 66th minute. Lorenzo Oxel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Caiçara Esporte Clube. Rui de Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lorenzo Oxel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Thiago Peres in the 76th minute of play forced JôVentus FC's goalkeeper Lorenzo Oxel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 76 minutes into the game, Alfredo da Silva was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Caiçara Esporte Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave JôVentus FC the free kick. In the 84th minute, Alfredo da Silva left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iuri Paiva in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frank Sá saved Caiçara Esporte Clube from getting behind.
