The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

In the 92nd match minute, Super Mengão was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertinho Custódio to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Yuri Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. São Paulo JA played a much better game than Super Mengão and deserved their victory. The Super Mengão players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
