Dedé Vidal started the match with the kick off. Luciano Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Valdir Braga in the 6th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in DinGol Brazil MZC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 10th minute. Penalty! DinGol Brazil MZC:s Luciano Félix showed great skill when he stopped Silvério Botelho:s penalty. Adalberto Messias's late challenge caught a DinGol Brazil MZC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adalberto Messias helped the player get up and apologised. Laércio Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Delfim Cunha during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th minute, one of DinGol Brazil MZC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for DinGol Brazil MZC. In the 22nd minute there was a penalty for Paula Tejando FC. Silvério Botelho stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luciano Félix. 0-1. Cássio Leme took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilmar Soares. Gilmar Soares dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Gilmar Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Vidal in the 29th minute of play. After 34 minutes, Valdir Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paula Tejando FC and the DinGol Brazil MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Laércio Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Paula Tejando FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laércio Sousa couldn't finish the play. In the 41st minute Valdir Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

DinGol Brazil MZC's Luciano Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save DinGol Brazil MZC from getting a goal against them. Cássio Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 64th minute, Mauro Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paula Tejando FC's Gilmar Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dedé Vidal in the 66th minute of play. In the 67th minute Valdir Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 72 minutes into the game, Cléberson Berger was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DinGol Brazil MZC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Paula Tejando FC the free kick. Cássio Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes DinGol Brazil MZC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Coutinho. Paula Tejando FC's Silvério Botelho got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Valdir Braga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilmar Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dedé Vidal, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. Gilmar Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
