With a couple of smart ball manuevers Renan Tasso in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vitório de Lara saved Paris Saint-Germain from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Paris Saint-Germain's Luiz Fernando de Amaral got a free kick in the 28th minute. Erasmo Falcão kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Raphael de Mendonça charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raphael de Mendonça the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of CORNOS FUTEBOL CLUBE booed when Paris Saint-Germain was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. The wind increased when Renan Tasso made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Rogério Gaúcho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitório de Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luiz Fernando de Amaral got his second yellow card in the match during the 53rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart.
