Abel Britto started the match with the kick off. Adelino Severo kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. Canto do Rio's Fausto Simões played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Carneiro in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, Aninim AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elias Carneiro to maneuver through the defense. Thiago Matos who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 7thth minute tested the skills of Almir Couto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Almir Couto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luizão Zonta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, Canto do Rio's Thiago Matos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Almir Couto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. 23 minutes into the match, Canto do Rio's Thiago Matos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Almir Couto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Almir Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Thiago Matos's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leandro Zanette during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Leandro Zanette hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After 33 played minutes Canto do Rio got a freekick which was hit by Jorge Campidelis. Thiago Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 37 played minutes Aninim AD got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Koehler. Thiago Matos took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almir Couto. Almir Couto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Thiago Matos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Almir Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitinho Torres's late challenge caught a Canto do Rio's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Vitinho Torres helped the player get up and apologised. In the 43rd match minute, Aninim AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitinho Torres to maneuver through the defense. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Thiago Matos to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Thiago Matos put it in 5-0 from a short distance just to the right of Almir Couto. Thiago Matos took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Almir Couto. Nilton Bastos hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Thiago Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Almir Couto was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When Canto do Rio's Thiago Matos in the 82nd minute got a chance for a shot 82nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Almir Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thiago Matos in the 93rd minute of the match.
