Thomás Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Francisco Araújo managed to get in a good position for a shot. PALESTRA WOLOLO's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisco Araújo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Thomás Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th match minute, Guarapari-ES Esporte Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Paranaense to maneuver through the defense. After 17 played minutes Guarapari-ES Esporte Club got a freekick which was hit by Christiano Figueiredo. In the 18th minute, Durvalino Tavares got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that John Madeira couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute, PALESTRA WOLOLO's John Madeira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Thomás Amorim. Thomás Amorim yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Adriano Severo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 93rd minute of the match, John Madeira tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Thomás Amorim saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers John Madeira in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Thomás Amorim saved Guarapari-ES Esporte Club from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Tião Prestes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
