Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Flávio da Silveira kicked off to start the match. After 5 minutes, Chiquinho Negri mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Nukengo SC and the Eletro Power players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 5th minute, Chiquinho Negri hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flávio da Silveira in the 8th minute of play forced Nukengo SC's goalkeeper Douglas Bezerra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Márcio Neves recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, João Augusto Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Nukengo SC's supporters rose to their feet, but João Augusto Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Márcio de Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute Kiko Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Augusto Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Magno Souza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Márcio Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Márcio de Sousa was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Márcio de Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Toninho Gomes, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute Jailson da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Douglas Bezerra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Magno Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Márcio Neves to make the kick off. If Márcio Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Márcio Neves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Márcio de Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Márcio Neves in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Márcio de Sousa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 63 minutes into the match, Eletro Power's goal looked a bit too open when João Augusto Mello came free, but Márcio de Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 64th minute, Jailson da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Nukengo SC's Márcio Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Márcio de Sousa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Márcio de Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Dante, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Toninho Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Márcio Neves's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Márcio de Sousa was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Júnior de Castro hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Márcio Neves managed to get in a good position for a shot.
