In the 5th minute, Paulinho Aguiar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 7 minutes, Paulinho Aguiar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atalho SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulinho Aguiar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Orlando Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Senna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 10 minutes into the match, GERA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Manoel Mendes came free, but Orlando Fantini reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11thth minute of the game Zé Pedro Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GERA FC's Orlando Fantini was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Zé Pedro Senna struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Orlando Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atalho SS. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulinho Aguiar in the 19th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Orlando Fantini saved GERA FC from getting behind. Manoel Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zé Pedro Senna struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Orlando Fantini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atalho SS. In the 35th minute Paulinho Aguiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Fantini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Zé Pedro Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute, Zé Pedro Senna left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Atalho SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Paulinho Aguiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Orlando Fantini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zé Pedro Senna's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. In the 47th minute Haroldo Bertassi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Naldo Reis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zé Pedro Senna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Manoel Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute of the match Alberto Fernandez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Naldo Reis skillfully saved the ball. Paulinho Aguiar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Orlando Fantini came out and tried to block the shot, but Paulinho Aguiar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Almir Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot. GERA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Almir Falcão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Naldo Reis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zé Pedro Senna in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Orlando Fantini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 72 played minutes GERA FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcelo Marquez. 76 minutes into the game, Kauã Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. GERA FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atalho SS the free kick. The supporters of Atalho SS booed when GERA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kauã Souza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Orlando Fantini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Aguiar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A hard shot 79 in the game by Zé Pedro Senna from a close distance when the talented Orlando Fantini managed to make a qualified save. GERA FC's players were relieved. Naldo Reis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Souza in the 83rd minute of play. When Paulinho Aguiar came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Atalho SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paulinho Aguiar couldn't finish the play. The GERA FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Atalho SS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
