Vágner Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Serafim da Cunha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 7 minutes, Christian Fantini managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barre Futebol Clube's supporters crossed their fingers, but Christian Fantini was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Cariuacanga's zone, Dorian Sergipano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Serafim da Cunha came out of the goal and Dorian Sergipano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alfredão Vaz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias de Medeiros having to interfere. Vágner Medeiros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Serafim da Cunha read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Dorian Sergipano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Serafim da Cunha to make any attempt to save it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dorian Sergipano got free with Serafim da Cunha in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vágner Medeiros scored 3-0 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Serafim da Cunha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 39th minute, Betão Dante got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Betão Dante hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After 43 played minutes Barre Futebol Clube got a freekick which was hit by Johnatan Barragán. In the 46th minute Christian Fantini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Serafim da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Dorian Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dorian Sergipano to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Cariuacanga's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Fantini came free, but Serafim da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Serafim da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorian Sergipano in the 57th minute of play. Cariuacanga's Serafim da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vágner Medeiros in the 68th minute of play. The supporters of Barre Futebol Clube booed when Cariuacanga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Escobar struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Serafim da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barre Futebol Clube. In the 78th match minute, Barre Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Betão Dante to maneuver through the defense. Christian Fantini took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Serafim da Cunha. Serafim da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. Dorian Sergipano struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Serafim da Cunha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barre Futebol Clube. Serafim da Cunha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Sergipano, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. A collision led to Cariuacanga getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Willian Abraão hit a great ball. In the 90th minute, Dorian Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barre Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Cláudio Valladares managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barre Futebol Clube's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Serafim da Cunha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Barre Futebol Clube's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
