Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Wesley Rocha got the match started through his kick off. Rafael de Sena charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rafael de Sena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 3 minutes into the game, one of Clube de Regatas Brasil:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Manoel da Silveira shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 8 minutes into the match, Sonserinos's goalkeeper Roberto Leal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nuno de Sena. After a rather tough play, Sonserinos's Cléberson Soares got a free kick in the 8th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Humberto Vale got free with Roberto Leal in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Roberto Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wesley Rocha in the 15th minute of the match. Alberto Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sonserinos's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wesley Rocha 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Clube de Regatas Brasil's Humberto Vale got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mauro Macedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Leal having to interfere. Roberto Leal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Humberto Vale in the 31st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sidnei Ribeiro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Roberto Leal. That made the score 4-0 in the 33 minute of play. Sidnei Ribeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Leal having to interfere. In the 37th minute of the match, Humberto Vale got a very nice opportunity to score, but Roberto Leal was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 46 played minutes Clube de Regatas Brasil got a freekick which was hit by Vânderson da Rocha. José Augusto Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Manoel da Silveira's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

In the 53rd minute, Rafael de Sena sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Sonserinos's Roberto Leal didn't even have to move. If Humberto Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Ribeiro in the 60th minute of play forced Sonserinos's goalkeeper Roberto Leal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 62nd match minute, Clube de Regatas Brasil was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rafael de Sena to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Chico Hermes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sonserinos's supporters rose to their feet, but Chico Hermes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. José Augusto Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Roberto Leal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nuno de Sena, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute Cléberson Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Augusto Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roberto Leal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nuno de Sena in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Baptista in the 82nd minute of play forced Clube de Regatas Brasil's goalkeeper José Augusto Freire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 83 minutes into the game, Nuno de Sena was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Clube de Regatas Brasil's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sonserinos the free kick. A collision led to Clube de Regatas Brasil getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Nuno de Sena hit a great ball. Hermínio Baptista recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 93 minutes, Humberto Vale mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube de Regatas Brasil and the Sonserinos players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Sonserinos booed when Clube de Regatas Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manoel da Silveira in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg José Augusto Freire saved Clube de Regatas Brasil from getting behind. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sonserinos players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Clube de Regatas Brasil.
