Jailson Gaúcho was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. EXTREME FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Eliseu Abraão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luiz Saldanha in the 18th minute of play. If Jailson Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Loyola kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Eliseu Abraão made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Fred de Medeiros sent off a good shot on target. Luiz Saldanha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Toninho Camargo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Eliseu Abraão was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Fred de Medeiros showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 29 minute of play. Roger Perez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Roger Perez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Eliseu Abraão made a huge save. Jailson Gaúcho came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Eliseu Abraão could save by the left post. After 44 minutes Foz Cataratas's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luiz Saldanha who took care of the corner kick. Luiz Saldanha made a great header on EXTREME FC's corner, it was just that Foz Cataratas's Eliseu Abraão managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Foz Cataratas's Toninho Camargo got a free kick in the 45th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Saldanha was the one to do the kick off. Luiz Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Eliseu Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 55 minutes into the match, Luiz Saldanha notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Foz Cataratas's Eliseu Abraão. Eliseu Abraão was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. EXTREME FC's Avelino Vilarinho got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luiz Saldanha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Eliseu Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Saldanha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Jailson Gaúcho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Foz Cataratas's zone, Avelino Vilarinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Abraão came out of the goal and Avelino Vilarinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Foz Cataratas getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Valdomiro Amaral hit a great ball. Jailson Gaúcho struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Eliseu Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EXTREME FC. 76 minutes into the match, Foz Cataratas's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Perez came free, but Eliseu Abraão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Saldanha struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Eliseu Abraão didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EXTREME FC. After a defensive mix-up in Foz Cataratas's zone, Roger Perez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eliseu Abraão came out of the goal and Roger Perez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Saldanha in the 82nd minute of play forced Foz Cataratas's goalkeeper Eliseu Abraão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. EXTREME FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Saldanha in the 83rd minute. Eliseu Abraão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fred de Medeiros in the 86th minute of the match. Jailson Gaúcho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Eliseu Abraão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. EXTREME FC's Luiz Saldanha got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Luiz Saldanha came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the EXTREME FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luiz Saldanha couldn't finish the play. There was no doubt that EXTREME FC were the better team. EXTREME FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
