The referee gave Master Team AD a penalty, 5 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmílson Soeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of São Paulo's Herbert Svensson. 1-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Master Team AD's Edmílson Soeiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Herbert Svensson. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. The supporters of Master Team AD booed when São Paulo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manuel Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andrézinho Tróia who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Herbert Svensson when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Percival Paulista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulinho Gomes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Percival Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulinho Gomes in the 18th minute of play. Andrézinho Tróia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Herbert Svensson skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 19th minute, Roberto Motta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edmílson Soeiro scored 3-0 in the 22nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Svensson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Paulinho Gomes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Percival Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Paulinho Gomes's shot from short distance in the 32nd minute. Herbert Svensson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Soeiro in the 34th minute of the match. São Paulo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Edmílson Soeiro scored to the left of an out of position Herbert Svensson, making the score, 4-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Andrézinho Tróia kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Herbert Svensson. Paulinho Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Percival Paulista having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andrézinho Tróia in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Svensson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Master Team AD's Andrézinho Tróia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herbert Svensson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-2. Roberto Motta kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. Herbert Svensson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andrézinho Tróia in the 66th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, São Paulo's goal looked a bit too open when Andrézinho Tróia came free, but Herbert Svensson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Igor Baiano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Edmílson Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Herbert Svensson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Master Team AD. After 95 minutes of play, São Paulo's Roberto Motta made it 6-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Percival Paulista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Master Team AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
