Spectators: 7190 (Terracing: 5394, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 143) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dino Coelho started the match with the kick off. The audience was convinced that Rony Couto's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Roger da Cunha was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Antônio Carlos Valladares hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 16th minute, Antônio Carlos Valladares fired away a hard free kick towards the goal. Décio Quadros moved to his left, but didn't have to make a save as the ball went out of bounds. Antônio Carlos Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Décio Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. VIEZZER F. C.'s Décio Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dino Coelho in the 28th minute of play. Antônio Carlos Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Décio Quadros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dino Coelho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Antônio Carlos Valladares had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rony Couto to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of VIEZZER F. C. booed when Carvalho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yan Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marquinhos da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Carlos Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Décio Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dino Coelho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 60th minute, Dino Coelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Décio Quadros was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Luís Arantes's late challenge caught a Carvalho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luís Arantes helped the player get up and apologised. Luís Arantes hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute of the match Rogério Siqueira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Décio Quadros skillfully saved the ball. Roger da Cunha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rony Couto's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. When Marquinhos da Silveira came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the VIEZZER F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marquinhos da Silveira couldn't finish the play. Antônio Carlos Valladares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antônio Carlos Valladares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Décio Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 92 played minutes VIEZZER F. C. got a freekick which was hit by Luís Arantes. For all the effort they put into the match, the VIEZZER F. C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Carvalho.
