Carlos Mazza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonardo Valadares in the 22nd minute of the match. Dorian Xavier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gualter Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heliópolis FC's Carlos Mazza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Valadares in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Heliópolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Léo de Senna came free, but Carlos Mazza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Gualter do Valle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gualter Furlan was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. After the first half Charqueada EC were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luiz Gustavo Maciel was the one to do the kick off. In the 51stth minute of the game Gualter do Valle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Charqueada EC's Gualter Furlan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Carlos Augusto Matos hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Renato Camargo fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Heliópolis FC's protests and gave Renato Camargo a yellow card for diving instead. Heliópolis FC's Gualter do Valle got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patrick Cerezo in the 86th minute of play forced Charqueada EC's goalkeeper Gualter Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gualter Furlan didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Heliópolis FC's Gualter do Valle shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 5-4 in the ordered_time% minute.
