Rômulo Paulista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Percy de Sousa in the 11th minute of play. Rômulo Paulista stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joélson Goiano's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Joélson Goiano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 18 minutes of play, Ramalho's Joélson Goiano made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rômulo Paulista was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21stth minute of the game Enéas Senna who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s Rômulo Paulista was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Nilton de Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Pinheiro in the 24th minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s Ronaldão Ramalho tried to score from far away in the 27th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. André Luís Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilton de Almeida having to interfere. If Joélson Goiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Percy de Sousa in the 33rd minute of play forced C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s goalkeeper Rômulo Paulista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Percy de Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s Rômulo Paulista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Goiano in the 36th minute of play. The C.A. Só o Pó F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ramalho were winning 0-3.

Ramalho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Percy de Sousa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joélson Goiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Ramalho fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Ramalho's Percy de Sousa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Enéas Senna's late challenge caught a C.A. Só o Pó F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Enéas Senna helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of C.A. Só o Pó F.C. booed when Ramalho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas Senna didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ramalho's Joélson Goiano got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Edvaldo Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Nilton de Almeida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for C.A. Só o Pó F.C.. C.A.
