Spectators: 7324 (Terracing: 5529, Seating: 1695, VIP seats: 100) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when André Luiz Vieira took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 played minutes Mozondo got a freekick which was hit by Vítor Donatello. Sandro Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto da Mata having to interfere. Joélson Magalhães received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Gilberto da Mata tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Mozondo defense, Joélson Magalhães kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gilberto da Mata. The Mozondo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gilberto da Mata should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vítor Donatello in the 13th minute of play forced Rulizovisk's goalkeeper Edson Aguiar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rulizovisk's Edson Aguiar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luiz Vieira in the 15th minute of play. Conrado Prata's late challenge caught a Rulizovisk's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Conrado Prata helped the player get up and apologised. After 22 played minutes Mozondo got a freekick which was hit by Conrado Prata. Nicolas Sousa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joélson Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Mozondo's André Luiz Vieira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Edson Aguiar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 34 minutes into the match, Wilson Diniz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edson Aguiar. Rulizovisk's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Wilson Diniz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. In the 37th minute of the match Jacinto Marinho shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edson Aguiar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Edson Aguiar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luiz Vieira in the 38th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Jacinto Marinho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto da Mata showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Baiano, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half Mozondo were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Sandro Baiano to strike the kick off in the second half. Edson Aguiar was a little too slow when Wilson Diniz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 54th minute. The score was now 1-3. Sandro Baiano took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilberto da Mata. Gilberto da Mata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-4. In the 65th minute, André Luiz Vieira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edson Aguiar was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. When Vítor Donatello came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Mozondo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vítor Donatello couldn't finish the play. Hernani Mattos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilberto da Mata having to make a save. After a rather tough play, Rulizovisk's Ricardinho Queirós got a free kick in the 77th minute. If Sandro Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the game, one of Mozondo:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edson Aguiar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Thomás Veloso showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-6 in the 86 minute of play. Cacá Falcão hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. A long shot from Sandro Queiroz in the 89th minute of play was well struck, but Edson Aguiar made a really good save at the right post. After a rather tough play, Mozondo's Jacinto Marinho got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The supporters of Mozondo booed when Rulizovisk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raimundo Galvão didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 97 minutes, Cacá Falcão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rulizovisk's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cacá Falcão was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mozondo were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Rulizovisk's much stronger midfield.
