In the 8th minute of the match Tales Baiano shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benê Quintal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Raúl Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Favoretto having to interfere. Edgar Mendonça's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Renatinho Favoretto firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 15th minute, Bruninho Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tales Baiano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 16th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Burro da Central's goal looked a bit too open when Angelo Mandrak came free, but Benê Quintal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 20 minutes into the game, Wiliam Vargas was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Salvarano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Burro da Central the free kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raúl Zanette in the 22nd minute of play forced Salvarano's goalkeeper Renatinho Favoretto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Raúl Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. José Vítor Vidal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Benê Quintal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bruninho Soeiro charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bruninho Soeiro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 32nd minute, Bruninho Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 33rd minute of the match Tales Baiano sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Benê Quintal skillfully saved the ball. In the 34th match minute, Burro da Central was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Mendonça to maneuver through the defense. Raúl Zanette recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 41st minute, Tales Baiano sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Burro da Central's Benê Quintal didn't even have to move. Salvarano's Renatinho Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raúl Zanette in the 47th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Angelo Mandrak to make the kick off. When Bruninho Soeiro was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 57 minutes had been played. Bruninho Soeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Raúl Zanette charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raúl Zanette the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Benê Quintal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Mandrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Salvarano's zone, Edgar Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Favoretto came out of the goal and Edgar Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Burro da Central's Benê Quintal got control of the ball when José Vítor Vidal tried to sneak it across the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Angelo Mandrak had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Benê Quintal. Burro da Central's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Angelo Mandrak was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. If Angelo Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Vítor Vidal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Through an outstanding action, after 91 minutes, Benê Quintal successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Salvarano's Angelo Mandrak got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Vítor Vidal kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Salvarano had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
