Spectators: 6656 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 0) Jataba's Sidnei Freitas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Elivélton Bittencourt kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Pardinho's goalkeeper Murillo Furlan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Serginho Saldanha. Murillo Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sidnei Freitas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesinha Hoffmann hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Jailson de Senna was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 12th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 14 minutes into the match, Jataba's goal looked a bit too open when Robinho Tróia came free, but Mauro Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Robinho Tróia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mauro Seco was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 28th minute, Robinho Tróia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 30 played minutes, Pardinho's Zé Carlos Sousa shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mauro Seco came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pardinho reached it. In the 42nd minute Sidnei Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Robinho Machado almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Pardinho's Murillo Furlan did a great save. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

51 minutes into the game, Duarte Sarmento was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pardinho's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jataba the free kick. In the 51st minute, Duarte Sarmento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murillo Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sidnei Freitas went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Mauro Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oscar Antunes in the 59th minute of the match. Jailson de Senna hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. The supporters of Jataba booed when Pardinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oscar Antunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murillo Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Hoffmann in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Rafinha Figueiredo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jailson de Senna, 71 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Oscar Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sidnei Freitas in the 79th minute of play forced Pardinho's goalkeeper Murillo Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Murillo Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serginho Saldanha in the 81st minute of play. When Alfredo Lara fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jataba's protests and gave Alfredo Lara a yellow card for diving instead. In the 83rd match minute, Jataba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfredo Lara to maneuver through the defense. Pardinho's Robinho Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Jataba getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Rafinha Figueiredo hit a great ball. Pardinho's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Jataba had won, even though Pardinho had held more of the ball.
