Spectators: 7248 (Terracing: 5437, Seating: 1667, VIP seats: 144) Nando Vianna started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Birigui Knights EC's goal looked a bit too open when Guga Moraes came free, but Frank Lopes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandro Rodrigues made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelo Félix in the 8th minute of play. After 14 minutes, Jaime Braga mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Birigui Knights EC and the COLISI FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. 14 minutes into the game, one of Birigui Knights EC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After 18 played minutes Birigui Knights EC got a freekick which was hit by Antônio Ceresso. After a defensive mix-up in Birigui Knights EC's zone, Rafa Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Frank Lopes came out of the goal and Rafa Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Zé Paulo Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Frank Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guga Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Sandro Rodrigues made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carlos Alberto Neiva in the 31st minute. In the 34th match minute, Birigui Knights EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jaime Braga to maneuver through the defense. Frank Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilian Paraense in the 34th minute of the match. When Guga Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the COLISI FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guga Moraes couldn't finish the play. If Zé Paulo Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rafa Coutinho in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Frank Lopes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zé Paulo Medeiros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafa Coutinho in the 45th minute of the match.

But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafa Coutinho couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Rafa Coutinho's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Frank Lopes was relentless in the 58th minute of the game. Frank Lopes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carlinhos Toledo went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Alberto Neiva in the 69th minute of play forced COLISI FC's goalkeeper Sandro Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Carlos Alberto Neiva during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 71st match minute, Birigui Knights EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlos Alberto Neiva to maneuver through the defense. COLISI FC's Guga Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Doni Lopez kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. In the 81st minute Nando Vianna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the game, Marcelo Félix was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Birigui Knights EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave COLISI FC the free kick. In the 84th minute, Marcelo Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafa Coutinho in the 85th minute of play forced Birigui Knights EC's goalkeeper Frank Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
