Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Juarês Severo took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doriva Meireles during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Ibipeba getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Doriva Meireles hit a great ball. In the 9th minute, Juarês Severo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute, Doriva Meireles hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute Juarês Severo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomé Palmeira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Juarês Severo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Tomé Palmeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes in the game, Rubinho Tepedino fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Luisinho Pinho having to interfere. In the 22nd play minute Gildo Martins came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Luisinho Pinho. 1-0. Gildo Martins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Luisinho Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltazar Messias's late challenge caught a Ibipeba's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Baltazar Messias helped the player get up and apologised. If Gildo Martins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubinho Tepedino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luisinho Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rubinho Tepedino in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisinho Pinho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Dagoberto Maciel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dagoberto Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rubinho Tepedino to strike the kick off in the second half. Gildo Martins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luisinho Pinho having to interfere. When Baltazar Messias was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 53 minutes had been played. In the 56th minute, Cipriano Baptista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Rubinho Tepedino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Rubinho Tepedino notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Manguinho's Luisinho Pinho. Luisinho Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Juarês Severo fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Ibipeba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Martins was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gildo Martins in the 68th minute of play forced Manguinho's goalkeeper Luisinho Pinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the match, Gildo Martins notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Manguinho's Luisinho Pinho. Luisinho Pinho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Manguinho's zone, Gildo Martins stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisinho Pinho came out of the goal and Gildo Martins tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 83rd minute Gildo Martins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luisinho Pinho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ibipeba's Rubinho Tepedino in the 87th minute got a chance for a shot 87th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Manguinho's goalie prevented a goal. In the 89th minute, Gildo Martins got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rubinho Tepedino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luisinho Pinho having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Rubinho Tepedino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisinho Pinho was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. In the 94th minute, Rubinho Tepedino made a precise shot to the right of Luisinho Pinho. Manguinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Ibipeba's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
