When Ray Delas fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bella Ginga FC's protests and gave Ray Delas a yellow card for diving instead. Ray Delas kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. In the 16th minute Mathias de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dieguinho Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ray Delas came free in the 19th minute and tried to tip the ball over Dino Dias, but to the joy of Manaira's supporters the ball went over. If Ray Delas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mathias de Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mathias de Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Bella Ginga FC booed when Manaira was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mathias de Barros didn't get a good kick on the ball. 35 minutes in the game Ray Delas after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Dino Dias. A very good opportunity. After 36 minutes, Charles Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manaira and the Bella Ginga FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Manaira fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 37 minutes, Bella Ginga FC's Jem Chlebek got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Dino Dias. A collision led to Bella Ginga FC getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Guaberto Jax hit a great ball. Mathias de Barros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luizinho Azevedo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th match minute, Manaira was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Charles Abreu to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Manaira's zone, Luizão de Mendonça stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dino Dias came out of the goal and Luizão de Mendonça tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Mathias de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Guaberto Jax sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ray Delas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dino Dias having to interfere. A collision led to Manaira getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Mathias de Barros hit a great ball.
