In the 23rd match minute, LCC 75 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinei Secco to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Mangueira in the 28th minute of play forced LCC 75's goalkeeper Marcelinho Pombal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 46 minutes of play, KuPs KuoPio's Tony de Godoi made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcelinho Pombal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half KuPs KuoPio were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tony de Godoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tony de Godoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tony de Godoi got free with Marcelinho Pombal in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 97th minute. Marcelinho Pombal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KuPs KuoPio.
