After recieving a nice pass, Erveira FC's Abelardo Soeiro tried to score from far away in the 7th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. A collision led to 1 Poko de Nois getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Rafa Passos hit a great ball. After having played for 10 minutes, Franklin Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Erveira FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franklin Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Erveira FC's Franklin Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Umberto de Lara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Umberto de Lara made a kick off. After 50 minutes of play 1 Poko de Nois's Rafa Passos was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The referee gave Erveira FC a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Abelardo Soeiro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of 1 Poko de Nois's Edinho Aparecido. 1-0. Paulo Renato Dantas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kaká do Valle hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Erveira FC's zone, Paulo Renato Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat.
