An unexpectedly hard shot by Telmo Prado in the 3rd minute of play forced Chascona FC's goalkeeper Lenílson Pinheiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Caetano Alagoano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenílson Pinheiro was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. After having played for 14 minutes, Elói Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Iron Paradise FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elói Azevedo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iron Paradise FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caetano Alagoano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lenílson Pinheiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A hard shot 26 in the game by Elói Azevedo from a close distance when the talented Lenílson Pinheiro managed to make a qualified save. Chascona FC's players were relieved. Sidney Prata stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Abel Urbano's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. Acácio Brodel hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Lenílson Pinheiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elói Azevedo in the 36th minute. Caetano Alagoano might have been able to make a better finish in the 37th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lenílson Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Caetano Alagoano ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Chascona FC getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Romário Simões hit a great ball. Elói Azevedo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 41stth minute tested the skills of Lenílson Pinheiro when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Iron Paradise FC's Caetano Alagoano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Lenílson Pinheiro. That made the score 1-1 after 43 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Iron Paradise FC's Sidney Prata proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Iron Paradise FC from getting a goal against them. Elói Azevedo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenílson Pinheiro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Chascona FC's goal looked a bit too open when Elói Azevedo came free, but Lenílson Pinheiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lenílson Pinheiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elói Azevedo in the 66th minute of play. When the match clock showed 68 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Elói Azevedo sped through Chascona FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Lenílson Pinheiro. When Iron Paradise FC's Elói Azevedo in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Chascona FC's Lenílson Pinheiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elói Azevedo in the 84th minute of play. Romário Simões hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Sidney Prata made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Urbano in the 88th minute of play. In the 89th minute Elói Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lenílson Pinheiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 90th minute, Luizão Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Urbano in the 92nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sidney Prata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iron Paradise FC were furious when Olavo Eger was red carded, 93 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 94th minute, Olavo Eger hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 95 played minutes Benê Linares shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Iron Paradise FC's Sidney Prata to catch but Benê Linares was lucky. It became 3-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Iron Paradise FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
