Gilvan Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Soares in the 6th minute of play. Doriva Bastos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Dracena having to interfere. Flamengo MZC's Pacorro Abalos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Simão Donato in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mateus Velloso in the 23rd minute of play forced Cheetara FC's goalkeeper Gilvan Dracena to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Caetano Senna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gilvan Dracena saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 31 minutes in the game, Horácio Nascimento fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Pacorro Abalos having to interfere. After 33 minutes, Fábio Quintal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cheetara FC and the Flamengo MZC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cheetara FC's Fábio Quintal got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Pacorro Abalos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Horácio Nascimento in the 35th minute. In the 42nd minute, one of Cheetara FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Cheetara FC.

Pacorro Abalos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simão Donato in the 52nd minute of play. Cheetara FC's Gilvan Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Cheetara FC from getting a goal against them. In the 64th minute, Samuel Cardoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Horácio Nascimento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pacorro Abalos. Flamengo MZC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Horácio Nascimento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. If Doriva Bastos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Jano Soares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gilvan Dracena was relentless in the 78th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Jano Soares put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Gilvan Dracena. After a rather tough play, Cheetara FC's Fábio Quintal got a free kick in the 82nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jano Soares in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilvan Dracena saved Cheetara FC from getting behind. Gilvan Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jano Soares in the 91st minute of play. Mateus Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilvan Dracena having to interfere. Flamengo MZC were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
