Spectators: 6662 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Doni Donato made the kick off which started today's match. 4 minutes into the match, Guarakessaba AD's Doni Donato sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alan Barral narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 7 minutes into the match, Tapes AD's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Donato came free, but Alan Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Doni Donato came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Guarakessaba AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Doni Donato couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Tapes AD's Bruno Couto got a free kick in the 15th minute. Charles Quintal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Otávio de Castro in the 19th minute. Luisinho Maciel kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guarakessaba AD's zone, Otávio de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charles Quintal came out of the goal and Otávio de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Luizinho Paulista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 25th minute of the match Jefferson Nascimento shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alan Barral showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Doni Donato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizinho Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alan Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 35 minutes into the match, Doni Donato notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Tapes AD's Alan Barral. Alan Barral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Luizinho Paulista hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Guarakessaba AD's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Enrique Dias 39 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Doni Donato's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alan Barral read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The Tapes AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guarakessaba AD were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Enrique Dias to make the kick off. With a little luck, Tapes AD's Alan Barral got control of the ball when Luizinho Paulista tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alan Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doni Donato in the 56th minute of the match. Luizinho Paulista struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Alan Barral didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guarakessaba AD. In the 62nd minute, Luizinho Paulista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Doni Donato, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alan Barral was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Tapes AD's goal looked a bit too open when Doni Donato came free, but Alan Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luizinho Paulista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alan Barral having to interfere. Tapes AD's Alan Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Doni Donato in the 71st minute of play. Charles Quintal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Otávio de Castro in the 80th minute of the match. If Doni Donato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doni Donato, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Doni Donato was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Guarakessaba AD's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. When Ernesto Valadares fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tapes AD's protests and gave Ernesto Valadares a yellow card for diving instead. The Tapes AD fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Guarakessaba AD were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
