Barbie F.C:s Adhemar Botelho showed great skill when he stopped Severino Hoffmann:s penalty. Thiago Netto kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Adhemar Botelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Severino Hoffmann went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Ciro Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Barbie F.C's Diogo Porto got a free kick in the 27th minute. Barbie F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edinho de Godoi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Haroldo de Souza's late challenge caught a Barbie F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Haroldo de Souza helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Corimbata getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Haroldo de Souza hit a great ball. Edinho de Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Jorge Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zdzislaw Sienkowski to make the kick off. The audience was convinced that Milosz Walec's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Meira was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Adhemar Botelho stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Severino Hoffmann's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Ciro Simão managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 68 minutes into the match, Corimbata's goal looked a bit too open when Zdzislaw Sienkowski came free, but Jorge Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Corimbata was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomé Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Corimbata's zone, Milosz Walec stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jorge Meira came out of the goal and Milosz Walec tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 78 played minutes Corimbata got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Tinoco. Barbie F.C made a substitution. Armando Linares replaced Edinho de Godoi. After 80 played minutes Corimbata got a freekick which was hit by Dedé Tinoco. Jorge Meira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zdzislaw Sienkowski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Armando Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ciro Simão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zdzislaw Sienkowski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 97 minutes into the match, Zdzislaw Sienkowski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jorge Meira. Corimbata's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zdzislaw Sienkowski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
