After a rather tough play, Stoker's Fernando Paraense got a free kick in the 2nd minute. José Paulo Cosme took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Corrêa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Caetano Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Paulo Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Stoker's Fernando de Senna played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Carlos de Amaral in the 11th minute of play. The throw-in from Natã de Sousa in the 18th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Rio Branco EC's Ludomir Komanski. If Zé Carlos de Amaral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Zé Carlos de Amaral put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Fernando de Senna. Zé Carlos de Amaral might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fernando de Senna. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Carlos de Amaral ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Stoker's João Paulo Cerezo got a free kick in the 41st minute. A collision led to Stoker getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Natã Coelho hit a great ball. After the first half Rio Branco EC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zé Carlos de Amaral to make the kick off. After having played for 53 minutes, Marcus Jonasson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rio Branco EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Jonasson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fernando de Senna didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano Chaves went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 60 minutes into the match, Rio Branco EC's goal looked a bit too open when Gualter Galvão came free, but José Paulo Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luiz Corrêa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luiz Corrêa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but José Paulo Cosme read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 78th minute, Fernando Paraense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rio Branco EC's André Luiz Negri was substituted for Zé Carlos de Amaral. Fernando Paraense hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. André Luiz Negri received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fernando de Senna came out and tried to block the shot, but André Luiz Negri slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 84th minute. In the 95th minute of the match, André Luiz Negri got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fernando de Senna was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The Stoker fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Rio Branco EC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
