Waldir Recife made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. AC CEОРΙ's Waldir Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adriano Pinheiro in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edmundo Varela was the one to do the kick off. Cafu Kobra kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Avatarnense played a much better game than AC CEОРΙ and deserved their victory. The AC CEОРΙ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
