Paulo Félix made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when C.J. 张耀坤 sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Caririmirim AD's Luiz Eduardo Veloso got a free kick in the 10th minute. Paulo Félix was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from 谢翔乐. Paulo Félix made an important save on a dangerous shot by Aílton Martins in the 22nd minute. Hunter's Alfredinho dos Santos suffered a torn muscle in his foot after 27 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The supporters of Hunter booed when Caririmirim AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulão Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caririmirim AD's Paulo Félix proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Caririmirim AD from getting a goal against them. After 30 minutes, Nilmar Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Caririmirim AD and the Hunter players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 30th match minute, Caririmirim AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nilmar Nascimento to maneuver through the defense. Nilmar Nascimento was shown his second yellow card after 32 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 34th minute of the match 谢翔乐 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Paulo Félix showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 36th minute Matheus Delgado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gilson de Lima's late challenge caught a Hunter's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gilson de Lima helped the player get up and apologised. After 36 played minutes Caririmirim AD got a freekick which was hit by Gilson de Lima. Paulo Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matheus Delgado in the 38th minute of play. Hunter's Matheus Delgado got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulão Maranhense to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Caririmirim AD's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Delgado came free, but Paulo Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 谢翔乐 hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Caririmirim AD defense, Matheus Delgado kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Paulo Félix. The Caririmirim AD fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Paulo Félix should have stopped the shot. 79 minutes into the match, 谢翔乐 notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Caririmirim AD's Paulo Félix. Paulo Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Paulo Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matheus Delgado, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Paulão Maranhense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paulo Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lenílson Toledo in the 93rd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Hunter players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
